No selected-file uploads
OpenMyFile works with files you explicitly choose in your own browser. Browser JavaScript reads selected file bytes locally. The site does not provide a user file-upload endpoint, user account or file-storage service.
Limits of that promise
Browser extensions, malware on your device, your browser's native media/PDF viewer, or links you choose to follow may behave independently of OpenMyFile. The site server still receives ordinary website requests and may record basic access logs, such as IP address and requested URL. If an advertising provider is configured, it may use its own scripts and privacy policies.
Cleanup
Closing or clearing the tool removes its active preview and revokes locally created object URLs. It does not remove the original file from your device.
